About

SysInfo VHDX Recovery Tool repairs corrupted or inaccessible VHDX files and recovers stored data. It supports multiple VHDX files and displays details before recovery, including format version, virtual disk size, sectors per track, and number of heads. It supports Master Boot Record (MBR) and GUID Partition Table (GPT) partitions. The tool provides Standard and Advanced scanning modes, plus three recovery modes: Standard for minor corruption, Advanced for moderate corruption, and Deep for severe corruption. Users can create a volume list, add custom volumes by specifying start and end sectors, and set a custom sector size. Supported file systems include FAT, FAT16, FAT32, FAT64, NTFS, HFS+, RAW, and EXTX. RAW mode supports custom signatures for existing or newly created file types. After scanning, recovered files and folders appear in a hierarchical tree for preview, and selection. Users can inspect file properties, select items, and save recovered data. The software can also save the recovered VHDX disk image to a chosen location. It can help address corruption caused by hardware failure, software errors, or improper shutdowns. The product page lists support for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, and earlier versions, and gives Mac requirements for Apple Silicon M1, M2, M3, and M4 processors. The free demo allows scanning and previewing recovered files; saving them locally requires the full version. Editions include Home, Administrator, Technician, and Enterprise for IT recovery.
