SysInfo IMAP Backup Tool helps users back up and migrate email from IMAP accounts and PST/OST files. It can export IMAP mailbox data to formats such as PST, PDF, MBOX, EML, MSG, CSV, DOC, DOCX, and JSON, or transfer emails to supported services including Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other IMAP accounts. The software supports batch migration. Administrators can use a CSV file containing email address, password, IMAP host, and port details to process multiple accounts. A folder-tree preview lets users review mailbox folders and select the data they need. Folder mapping and custom naming help keep the destination organized. Filtering options include date range, item type, subject, sender, recipient, CC, BCC, and message body. Duplicate removal compares selected email fields, while Skip Previously Migrated helps avoid reprocessing items during incremental runs. Users can choose how attachments are handled, split large output files, and review activity logs and migration reports showing processed, skipped, and failed items. To begin, install and launch SysInfo IMAP Backup Tool, choose single or batch mode, and enter the required account details. Test the connection, preview folders, select the mailbox data, choose an output format or destination service, and apply any filters. Start migration and monitor progress. For CSV-based batch jobs, prepare the required four-column account file before importing it. The tool runs locally and is designed to avoid uploading mailbox files to external servers. It supports Windows & macOS, with editions for individual users, administrators, technicians, and enterprises. The demo allows users to evaluate features and save up to 100 emails per folder. This makes the software useful for mailbox backups, platform transitions, selective exports, and organized email archiving.
